Gwyneth Paltrow on cover of UK ELLE

Gwyneth Palthrow is on the cover of this month's Elle magazine and she's dishing on the love of her "good" man Chris Martin,
macrobiotic food and her good girl gone bad ways.

Yup Mrs Martin says she's not as square as we may think and even wait for it .... enjoys the odd glass of red wine. And controversially when referring to her friend Courtney love the actress said:

"I don't think she's on Class A narcotics anymore. Maybe just Class C. That's no big deal - aren't we all, ha, ha, ha!"

Hmm moving on swiftly she also praised her hubby Coldplay frontman Chris Martin saying:

He's 'fundamentally generous', 'spiritually evolved' and a 'good, good man'.

And credits him for helping her to cope with her grief after her father passed away:

"I can’t listen to Swallowed In The Sea without crying. I’m amazed he stuck with me, because I was a wreck. I can’t believe that he did."

The interview actually sounds quite candid unlike those celebrity interviews that start off with the journalist describing how the
star was so much more beautiful, luminous, gracious in real life then rapidly descends into a sea of sycophancy as we are regaled with boring anecdote after boring anecdote.

Mid Week Fashion Snaps

The Oscars are just around the corner and for us fashion types it's our equivalent to the Superbowl or UEFA cup - it's when the heavyweights show us what they're really made of.

The slew of pre Oscar events have got celebs turning out in their droves and below are some of the best looks so far. Double snaps go to Freida Pinto who looks like an Oscar statue comes to life so working it and Camille Belle whose MacQueen lovely I've already got pinned to my wish list wall.

Loving Suri's white dress with navy accents and Katie looks tres chic in beige shorts, and a slouchy v neck jumper topped off with oversized shades a la VB. Katie and Suri Style Bazaar salutes you!

Pamela Anderson Goes High Fashion

From Baywatch to Barb Wire to high fashion. Yup everyone's favourite magician's assistant is the poster girl for the Vivienne Westwood spring/summer 09 campaign. Story goes Pam met the Dame at her Red Label show and as they say the rest is history.

Pam is definitely a pop culture icon but her latest incarnation as a fashionista is less convincing and this is why: She has one look - blonde, busty and trashy. In every photoshoot she projects one persona.

Shot by renowned fashion photog Juergen Teller the shots are gorgeous and I'm loving Vivienne Westwood's little cameo appearance in the background. But Pam's a one trick pony and I feel like I've kinda seen it all before.

Confessions of a Shopaholic Trailer

The Confessions of a Shopaholic movie comes out this month and although it's gotten a lambasting from the critics I say who cares ? It's got the lovely Isla Fisher playing lead character Becky Bloomwood and Pat Field as stylist so it's bound to be worth a look. Enjoy the trailer.

He's Just Not That Into You World Premier

He's just not that into you is one of those books I picked up years ago because I'd read that Liz Tuccillo one of the co-writers had also written for Sex and the City so logic goes SATC hilarious HJNTIY also ridiculously spot on and funny. And it didn't let me down the book is a collection of really honest advice about dating from both a male and female perspective with some hilarious anecdotes thrown in.

Anyway fast forward to the present and the film version starring Jen Aniston, Scarlett Johansson, Jen Connelly, Drew Barrymore and Ginnifer Goodwin had it's world premier in LA and the film's leading ladies celebrated in style.

Scarleto Jo showed off her newly dyed locks and.... fashion snaps for trying something new but she truthfully looked better blonde. The dress is a little too club tropicana for my tastes but with her knockout figure she somehow manages to pull it off.

Apart from desperately needing a cupcake like now Jennifer Connelly looks like a mermaid who's just swam ashore. The dress is horrible. The shoes need to be returned to a market stall pronto. From the neck up she looks totally gorgeous though.

So best dressed of the night goes Drew, Jen A and Ginnifer Goodwin. ok so they didn't take any risk and stuck o failsafes - bow, block colour, black suit - but hey if it ain't broke.
